Omicron Delta Epsilon promotes scholarship and encourages interest in economics. ODE is open to economics majors with 3.5 grade point average and 15 hours of economics.
The Risk Management and Insurance Society is an organization for students majoring in Insurance & Risk Management. The purpose of the Insurance & Risk Management Society is to improve the quality of insurance education and to serve as a liaison between the campus and the insurance industry. This organization is open to all insurance majors who are in good academic standing with the University.
Rho Epsilon is a national professional fraternity which encourages interest in real estate, promotes interaction between real estate professionals and students, and informs students and professionals on current issues. Rho Epsilon is open to all real estate majors and to any person interested in real estate related areas.
The Society for Human Resource Management is open to all students with an interest in human resource management. The organization is sponsored by a practitioner chapter and affords students the opportunity to interact with human resource professionals, attend conferences and seminars, vie for merit awards, and prepare for certification in the human resource field.
The Society for the Advancement of Management is a student organization open to all students interested in management. The Ole Miss S.A.M. organization encourages students to become more knowledgeable about the business environment and to gain the skills that are needed to become not just a manager, but also an effective leader.
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) helps students apply their classroom experiences to develop and implement educational outreach programs that teach individuals in their communities the principles of of market economics, entrepreneurship, personal finances, success skills, and business ethics.
The MBA Association is for all MBA students who wish to take an active role in shaping the academic, professional, and social environment of the MBA Program. The MBA Association offers students the opportunity to interact with other students in the program and to participate in campus governance issues affecting graduate students. The group takes on many special projects each year and hosts several guest speakers from business and industry. All MBA students are automatically members of this association.
